What are the requirements to register a single member company?

A single member company is the one which has only one director. It is also known as SMC. It is registered through Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). The process of registration normally takes between 15 to 30 days.

A single member company is equal to a Private Limited Company. For all legal purposes it is considered a Private Limited Company. The following are the requirements to register a Single Member Company:-

1. Copy of CNIC of One director.
2. Copy of CNIC of One Nominee.
3. Copy of CNIC of One Alternate Nominee.
4. Copy of Rent Deed of Office Space.
5. Authority letter authorizing a lawyer/agent to file the process of registration and correspond during the registration process.
6. Name Availability Certificate (Obtained during the registration process).
7. Memorandum of Association, Articles of Association, Constittuion, etc to be prepared by the lawyer.
