Because of Corona Pandemic the court across Pakistan are operating under different notifications. More or less most of the courts are only dealing in two kinds of cases which include the bail matters and the stay order cases.
A fact is that new cases are being frequently filed across Pakistan during the recent days. Case filing process will not stop for sure. However a relaxation has been given by many appellate courts that the question of limitation has been ended during these times.
Many problems are arising because of which the Lahore High Court has recently issued a notification for making the courts functional from 20th of April 2020 along with taking precautionary measures.
Persons who are not required to appear before the courts are not allowed to appear. Similarly lawyers across Pakistan are not allowed to take their associates to courts with them. More than six persons are not allowed to be inside a court room and so on.
